HOW IT WORKS - MEG FEST - LIVESTREAM

PART 1 - Post-Purchase

Directly after your Purchase, we strongly advise you to take the following steps to be sure your experience is completely smooth on the day of your event.

  1. Check your email for your confirmation email [subject: Order #_____ Confirmed]
  2. Click the a link at the top of your email to view your Unique Code
  3. View your unique code at the bottom of that page [within a white box]. Copy the code.
  4. Open the event link on any device - https://shop.megdonnelly.com/pages/meg-fest
  5. Click the "ENTER ACCESS CODE" button - then click the "SIGN UP" and enter your email used at purchase, create a password, and create a username. (note: if the chat feature is enabled for your event, your username can be seen by the public during the chat).
  6. After you've created your account you will then see a field appear on the original page asking you to Enter Your Access code. Paste your unique code from Step 3 in this field and you're in!
  7. Open your internet browser and visit fast.com to check your connection speed. You’ll want to use either a cellular data or WiFi connection that registers a speed of at least 30 Mbps. Hint: Remember to test the internet speed in the same location as you will be taking your meet & greet with the artist.
  8. You may now close your browser. You are now logged in and ready to go until the day of your event - just don't forget your username & password!

STREAMING TO YOUR TV [Optional]: Once you have completed the steps above, you can also setup the stream to your TV using any screen mirroring tool (e.g. Apple TV, Fire TV, Chromecast) or a good old fashioned HDMI chord.

 

PART 2 - Event Day!

The morning of your event, open this page https://shop.megdonnelly.com/pages/meg-fest on whatever device you'll be viewing on to be sure you have no issues logging in.

1 hour prior to the event - Visit fast.com one more time on your device to ensure your wifi or cellular data registers a speed of at least 30 Mbps for an optimal viewing experience.

MEG FEST – MEET & GREET

PART 1 - Post-Purchase

After you purchase your ticket, you will not immediately be able to log into Looped. We will email you a few days before the event telling you that you are all set to log into Looped, but until that date don’t bother trying.

Directly after you receive this follow up email, we strongly advise you to take the following steps to be sure your experience is completely smooth on the day of your event.

  1. Download & Open the Looped App on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Click “Login through Email” and enter the email address used at purchase.
  3. Follow directions on App to 2-Step Verify Your Email [this 6-digit login code is different from the Unique Code you’ll use to redeem your specific event purchase].
  4. When prompted, select “Turn On Notifications” button to ensure you don’t miss your call with the artist, then click Continue.
  5. Agree to the Looped Terms of Service & click Continue.
  6. Click on the “My Events” tab on the lower left-hand corner of the app. Your confirmed event reservation will appear here under “You’re Going!”
  7. Tap the event image under “You’re Going!” to enter the event and be sure everything is working smoothly.
  8. Open your phone’s internet browser and visit fast.com to check your phone’s connection speed. You’ll want to use either WiFi or a cellular data connection that registers a speed of at least 30 Mbps. Hint: Remember to close out all your open apps except Looped when testing, and to test the internet speed in the same location as you will be taking your meet & greet with the artist.
  9. Great news - You are now all set for the event and can close the app until the date of your event! Still have questions? Visit the Product FAQ Page.

 

PART 2 - Event Day

The morning of your event, open the Looped app to be sure everything is still working correctly and your “My Events” tab includes the event you're signed up for. 

  1. One hour prior to the event - Visit fast.com one more time on your device to ensure your WiFi or cellular data registers a speed of at least 30 Mbps.
  2. 5-10 minutes pre-event - Click on the “My Events” tab on the lower left-hand corner of the app. Your confirmed event reservation will appear here under “You’re Going!” Tap the event image under “You’re Going!” to enter the event. While you await your call from the artist, you can chat live with other fans in the waiting room and fill out the artist's questionnaire (if applicable)!
  3. Your 1-on-1 call from the artist will take place through the Looped app, so make sure you stay logged in and your sound is on so you don’t miss your call.
  4. If you have any technical or app related issues during your event, contact support@loopedlive.com and someone will assist you shortly. Tip: You can also ask questions within the chat room and a moderator or your fellow fans can help you in real time too!
